  1. Kind dr. Conde,

    as coordinator of the design workgroup of the SITAR Project and on behalf of our project Scientific Responsible and also of our Institute, the “Soprintendenza Speciale per il Colosseo, il Museo Nazionale Romano e l’Area Archeologica di Roma”, I’m obliged to ask to You to kindly review, update and correct the information You published in this post, for the following reasons that I guess You already, at least partially, know:
    1) the SITAR Project and the Imperial Fora Project (and to which do You exactly refer w.r.t. the many initiatives just so entitled in the last decades ?…) are precisely diffent projects in terms of its own history, objectives, promoting public institution, workgroup, life-cycle, instruments, outcomes and also funding resources;
    2) the title of Your post, as much as the content of the same, but also those of the related post listed at the end of this post and published by You on this web site, appear rather confused about the concrete information on the mentioned project(s), funds, links, …, that You probably aimed to share with your readers;
    3) in particular, there is no relation between the SITAR Project, the recalled budget of 400.000 eu., the name of professor Carandini (who led another specific project about Rome archaeology, as I guess You well know, namely Atlante di Roma antica), all items that You should precisely distinguish and explict in a different manner, if You please.

    With the occasion, I invite You to participate in our next Conference on the SITAR Project (and not only about it) that will be held in Rome, at Palazzo Massimo alle Terme, on 14 October, from 9.00 to 18.00.

    Other official informations on SITAR Project are awailable on our new web site
    http://archeositarproject.it/
    and anyway I’m at Your disposal for every further need of specif data and update on this matter.

    Many Thanks,
    Best Regard.

    Andrea De Tommasi
