Rome – Italian Archaeologists May Have Discovered a New Iron Age Burial(s) in the Roman Forum (31/07/2010)?
During the course of the recent excavations in the Roman Forum along the Sacra Via in late July 2010 , Italian archaeologists may have discovered a new Iron Age Cremation Burial(s), this is according too new photographs of the excavation site. This cremation burial is similar to those unearthed nearby in the Forum of Ceasar in July 2008 , and the Iron Age necropolis near the Temple of Antoninus and Faustina, by Prof. Giacomo Boni between 1901-1907 .
